In manufacturing rolls, we select materials and apply heat treatment at the appropriate intermediate stage during processes such as roughing, to optimize the characteristics of the material.
We can also meet both specifications and cost by selecting materials according to the required precision.
・Stable supply of 1μm runout accuracy after bearing unit assembly
In order to achieve a post-assembly runout accuracy of 1μm, we are particular about not only the rolls but also the bearings and housings.
Hikoyama Seiki performs surface and internal grinding of housing and collar and selects appropriate bearings to ensure a stable supply.
Furthermore, Hikoyama Seiki produces precise measurements by reproducing the conditions in which the bearing is installed on the actual machine, so it can be used immediately after installation.
・We manufacture a wide variety of coating rolls
Hikoyama Seiki has an array of processing machines, including cylindrical grinders and surface grinders, for the manufacture of a wide variety of coater rolls.
We also have experience in manufacturing notch (knife) rolls and WC-sprayed coater rolls.
